When you’re clear on what you want in your life, it’s easier to ignore the things that won’t help you get there. The thing is it’s not always easy to see what we do want. But what we’re great at is knowing what we don’t want. So that’s where we start.

How it works:
- Take a look at everything that really annoys you.
- What is it about that thing or event that drives you nuts? This is a thing that you don’t want.
- Now you can reverse that into something that you do want. For example, “I hate riding the bus to get my shopping” changes to “I want my own car”.
- Now you can make a plan to get what you want.
