There’s Big Value in Values

There’s Big Value in Values

Know what’s important to you
Sometimes, we may not realise that we value something. We can make choices to suit that value, but accidentally, those choices go against our goals. Figuring out what you value can make a huge difference in what decisions you make and can help you get to your goals faster.
If you’re having trouble figuring out what your values are, try looking at decisions you’ve made in your life (even the small ones) and figure out what drove you to make that choice. That will be your value. Grab your values worksheet and find out what’s important to you.
What to do once you know your values
- Look at your life the way it is right now. Are your values being met? If not, why not?
- Think about what you can change right now that will help you meet your values.
- Start making changes in your life that will match your values and benefit you in the long run.
- Keep your values in mind every time you go to do something – are you meeting your values?
